Contributing to Wikiham

Wikiham is open to readers. Editing access is granted to approved contributor accounts by the administrator.

Log in and choose Edit this page. Start with a short explanation, use headings to organise the article and add an edit summary when saving. Use Preview before publishing.

To create an article, open All articles while logged in and enter its title in the Create article form. Use one subject per article and a descriptive title, such as “Dipole antenna”. Articles live at the root of the wiki: do not add a topic or namespace prefix. The alphabetical index updates automatically. Use the article template for a project or technical reference.

The table editor makes it easier to add rows, columns and values without editing table markup directly. Use the Media Manager for images and PDF attachments.

• Explain acronyms when they first appear.
• State units and describe measurement conditions.
• Cite primary sources for specifications, standards and current operating rules.
• Use only material you own or are entitled to redistribute.
• Keep personal information and credentials out of pages and attachments.

Every page has an History / Old revisions view. Compare revisions there and restore an earlier version if a change needs to be undone.
