RIPE Atlas

From Wikiham, the ham radio free encyclopedia

RIPE Atlas is a distributed platform for measuring Internet connectivity. Probes perform network measurements from the paths available to them.

Software probes

A software probe can run on a server. Measurements from a probe describe its network path, including any tunnel or other intermediate transport. Recording this context helps readers interpret latency, routing and reachability.

XZ Group probe

XZ Group operates probe 1017882 with public 44net addressing through WireGuard. The network is associated with AS197736.
